Where Discord hides the key
User Settings → My Account → Enable Authenticator App.
Under the QR code, click “Can’t scan? Enter the key manually”.
Copy the 16-character Base32 key.
Paste it above and enter the six digits Discord asks for.
Backup codesDiscord reveals ten backup codes immediately after enrolment. They are the only way back in without the key — download them before you close the tab.

Does Discord log me out of other devices when I enable 2FA?
No. Existing sessions stay signed in. 2FA applies at the next login and to sensitive account changes.
