Generator/Terms

Terms of use

Using Gen2FA means accepting what follows. It is short because the site does little: there is no account to open, no payment to take and no data to hold.

What you may do

Use the generator and the guides for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, at no cost and without asking. You do not need permission to link to any page here.

What you may not do

Do not use this site to generate codes for an account you are not authorised to access. A setup key is a credential; possessing one does not make its use lawful. Do not present the site as your own, and do not imply it is affiliated with a service whose name appears in a guide.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. It may be unavailable, may contain errors, and may change or disappear without notice.

Codes depend on your device clock being correct. A clock that has drifted produces codes the service rejects, and that is outside anything this site can control or detect.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from use of this site — including lost access to an account, a locked-out login, a rejected code, or any indirect or consequential loss. You use it at your own risk. The disclaimer sets out the specific risks worth understanding.

Your keys are yours

Nothing you paste is collected, transmitted or retained, so there is nothing here to return, delete or disclose. The privacy notice explains how that is enforced by the browser rather than promised by us.

Third-party services

Guides describe services operated by other companies. Their terms govern your use of them, their interfaces change without notice to us, and no representation is made that a guide is current. Trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the service described.

Changes

These terms may be revised; the version published here is the one that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
